Abstract
What is one of the biggest challenge faced by the world in the 21st century? The popular answer to this question is how to maintain the global peace.
This is a thought-provoking presentation which has five main objectives. Firstly, to briefly explain two main theoretical concepts and their historical background – mindful anthropomorphism and global peace. Secondly, to provide some practical examples explaining the importance of these concepts, and their practical application. Thirdly, to highlight the significance of mindful anthropomorphism in context of global peace. Fourthly, to suggest new strategic pathways which could lead towards establishing the sustainable global peace. Lastly, to provide the audience with some thought-provoking statements and open-ended questions.
Biodata
Dr. oec. Rashmi Rai-Rawat is a Social Scientist and a lecturer.
Her background is in Economics (Development), Strategic Management and International Tourism Management. She has several years of academic experience in teaching, research and academic programme management in the leading universities and private institutes across Europe and Asia. She has invested lot of time in gaining research experience at the University of St. Gallen and ETH University. She also did intensive research field work in India.
Dr. Rai-Rawat has also served the academic community in leading positions in multiple associations focussed on the higher education. As the co-president of the actionuni, Switzerland; as a coordinator of the doctoral training in Eurodoc; as a board member and events coordinator at the AVETH (ETH); as a social internship coordinator of Asian student association, University of St. Gallen; as a Member Representative of the National Social Services, M.D.S University, India. She is also engaged in multiple organizations and universities as a mentor and strategic advisor.
She has consistently served at the religious centres and humanitarian organizations. She has also been engaged in continuous learning of Vedic studies and other subjects.
